Bushwhacker Climbing Club

Who we are

Based in the greater Seattle area, we are a group of fun and friendly Pacific Northwest climbers who build an outdoor community through the camaraderie of mountain travel. The Bushwhacker Climbing Club, established in 2003, is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization. Our mission is to "Foster and educate a community that enjoys wilderness adventures".

What we offer

 

We offer a Basic Glacier Travel Course every spring, as well as a few other courses like Outdoor Leadership and Scramble courses, and organize outdoor adventures and social activities throughout the year. Some events and socials include:
  • Mountaineering
  • Rock Climbing
  • Skiing (downhill & cross country)
  • Scrambling
  • Hiking
  • Backpacking
  • Car Camping
  • Pub Nights
  • Indoor gym climbing nights (bouldering & top roping)
  • (and of course) Bushwhacking!
